• I’m going to push myself because that’s what I signed up for. I didn’t want to back down.
• I don’t think I can remember any sense of fear on the trail. It was just a matter of I’m just not sure what was going to happen next. I’m just going to keep going.
• Before starting the trail I was just thinking about how this would be a good opportunity to embrace the uncertainty and being able to adapt to the always changing environment that we’d be putting ourselves through on the trail. Get myself out of the comfort zone.
• I know I’m not going to know what’s going to happen ahead but I just want to be open to that.
• I guess I look at challenges now with I guess I would say I’m a bit more optimistic about things. I don’t’ really think about what could go wrong.
• It’s helped me become more adaptable.
