• It was as if he had been living his entire life in black and white and all of a sudden it
became very colourful for him.
• If you just look at what happened last year, you’re not going to get a snapshot of what
might happen this year.
• Maybe if we had been more focused on safety and what he needed as opposed to
what he didn’t need… maybe he’d still be with us today.
• A lot of times you don’t know you’re in a dangerous situation until you’re in a dangerous situation.
And by then it’s too late.
• Make smart decisions today.
• Just having the right equipment is not enough. You need to know how to use it.
• Go hike the shit out of that trail!
