• The towns and the hostels are definitely the community meet up spots.

• Things don’t go as planned and we’re figuring out new solutions for it.

• Things never go quite as you think they will out here.

• Nothing will get in the way of me getting the food I want.

• It’s definitely just a lot simpler.  It really makes you appreciate all the little moments and realize that you don’t need a lot of things in general.

• It’s all about enjoying the experience that you are having.  Taking those blue blazes and enjoying the moments.

• I think being out in the middle of the wilderness and being in those remote places is super cool and really freeing.  To just look around you and see absolutely nothing, I think that’s really cool.

• Be kind to my own mind.

• I think learning how to let go and let whatever happens on the trail happen is a really big lesson.

• If all you’re worried about is upping your miles every single day then you’re not experiencing the trail.  The trail is testing you.

• The trail angels who don’t even realize their trail angels are the best on trail.
