• You have to make decisions every day when you’re hiking a long trail.
•What are you here for? I was on trail to enjoy. I was on trail to get a different perspective on life.
• Every day was an adventure and you just didn’t know what was going to happen.
• It’s a good thing to know at least how to deal with specific animals on trail. Bears, mountain lions.
• It’s good to make decisions based off of why you’re on the trail.

• This is the most important lesson I learned from the PCT was to drop the ego.
• It’s good to push yourself, but not too far. And sometimes it hard to know where that line is.
• Definitely make sure that you’re not all consumed with the miles you’re doing every day. Make sure to stop and just enjoy the nature around you and the people around you. Because it’s really…
